Tom Reynolds from Independent Drug Education Australia (IDEA) spoke to Year 11 at the Wellbeing Assembly on Friday 4 August.

Tom Reynolds is the Founder of IDEA and is passionate about reducing drug-related harm to the community through the provision of up to date evidence and science-based information.

His innovative and engaging workshop for Year 11 focussed on all alcohol and other drug related issues. He covered everything the students needed to know about drugs, with a key focus on providing proactive and responsive skills and strategies that they can use to protect themselves and their friends in all alcohol and other drug-related situations – from prevention, to harm reduction, to emergency situations.

He has spoken to year groups in the past and due to the response from Year 11, we will surely have him back.
